History
The land known as Tapuiwahine A12 comprises of 46.4781 hectares (114 acres) and is situated at Oparure close to Motiti Marae. This land does not have legal access from the road.
At a sitting of Maori Land Court at Te Kuiti on 14th May 1953 and upon an application from the Waitomo County Council, it was ordered that the Maori Trustee execute an instrument of alienation (a lease) on behalf of the owners of this land, in accordance with the provisions of part III of the Maori Purposes Act 1950.
